With the retirement of Founder Richard J. Stuart, ARES PRISM—the industry-leading capital construction project controls solution provider—welcomes Ryan Kubacki as its new CEO.
Kubacki is a seasoned C-level enterprise software executive with a successful track record of growth and innovation. He has held leadership roles at several enterprises including Flexera Software, Vista Equity Partners, and Microsoft.
Most recently, as Chief Revenue Officer of Flexera, Kubacki led the global organization of 400 employees responsible for customer experience, sales, company revenue and professional services. In under three years, Ryan worked alongside other senior leaders to grow Flexera’s valuation from $1.4 billion to $2.9 billion in under three years for a successful exit.
A long record of leadership experience and achievement
“Ryan Kubacki is an accomplished C-level software executive with a proven record of transforming the focus and priority of organizations toward customer success,” said Brian Shortsleeve, Co-Founder of growth equity firm M33 Growth. “We recruited Ryan to serve as CEO of ARES PRISM, co-invest in the business and serve on the board of directors. We’re excited to have his experienced leadership in each of those capacities.”
“I am ecstatic to partner with M33 Growth and work with ARES PRISM’s fantastic team, customers and partners, as we build upon a track record of more than 25 years of helping organizations solve project management challenges,” said Kubacki.
“Right out of the gate,” he continued, “I’ll be diving into how we can both broaden and deepen our customer value proposition through enhanced product development to ensure ARES PRISM continues its success as the market’s leading project cost management and project controls software.”
Accelerating efficiency and automation in the mega-construction sector
Kubacki is passionate about how ARES PRISM solutions can help build our world’s infrastructure with far greater precision and speed by introducing innovative software to a notoriously inefficient capital construction sector. He is installing an experienced management team from game-changing companies such as Oracle, Google and Microsoft to help scale ARES PRISM’s deep engineering experience.
Kubacki’s leadership skills were honed during his undergrad days at Harvard University, where he served as president of the Crimson Key Society on his way to earning a BA and then an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He will work out of the company’s headquarters offices in Naperville, Illinois.
