NAPERVILLE, IL: ARES PRISM, the SaaS company that develops industry-leading project controls software solutions which enable owners and EPCs to build mega-construction projects with greater precision and speed, today announced the hiring of Peter Piela as Vice President of Engineering.
Piela joins ARES PRISM from Gateless, an AI-based automation platform for classifying and extracting data from document images. As Vice President of Software Development, Piela led the development and advancement of software to optimize the data extraction process, ultimately providing customers with valuable business insights. 
Development prowess and leadership experience
With over two decades of experience in developing leading-edge enterprise software platforms and galvanizing high-performance teams, Piela is well-equipped to bring new, scalable solutions to enhance product development at ARES PRISM.

Piela will oversee the engineering, DevOps, QA testing and user documentation functions for ARES PRISM, managing a team of both engineers and developers. Piela holds a BS in chemical engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology and a PhD in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
